Nikolaos 37 was basilikos spatharios and kommerkiarios of Dekapolis; owner of a seal of uncertain date, possibly eighth or ninth century: Konstantopoulos, JIAN 9, 172a. The name and titles read: Νικολάῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ καὶ κουμερκιαρίῳ Δεκαπόλεος. Dekapolis was probably the Isaurian Dekapolis (cf. Gregorios 79), and perhaps part of the thema of Kibyrrhaiotai; cf. Oikonomides, Listes, p. 351.
