Niketas 156 was topoteretes; addressee of a letter from Theodoros 15 (Theodore the Stoudite), of uncertain date; he had sent gifts to Theodoros 15 who replied with a letter offering advice, to live a God-fearing life, honour his parents, love his wife as himself, educate his children and be an example to them, and other commonplace Christian exhortations; he is styled ἡ φιλέντολός σου δεξιὰ (p. 671, line 2) and addressed as δέσποτα (p. 671, line 3): Theod. Stud., Ep. 468, pp. 671-672 (addressed Νικήτᾳ τοποτηρητῇ). Evidently married, with a family.
