Niketas 146 was patrikios, basilikos protospatharios and eparch; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century (Zacos and Veglery), possibly the early ninth (Laurent): Zacos and Veglery 2254 = Laurent, Corpus II 1001. The name and titles read: Νικήτᾳ πατρικίῳ, βασιλικῷ πρωτοσπαθαρίῳ καὶ ἐπάρχῳ. He was presumably eparch of the Polis (i.e. Constantinople).
