Niketas 88 was the owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Speck, Bleisiegel 126. Obv.: bust of a saint with a lance; traces of a letter (perhaps Γ). Rev.: Κεβθ - ωσωδ - ωνικ - .. . The text perhaps reads: Κ(ύρι)ε β(οη)θ(ει) [τ]ῷ σῷ δ(ούλ)ῳ Νικ[ήτᾳ]. The restoration of the name is not certain; it could perhaps be read as Νικ[ολάῳ].
