Niketas 50 was basilikos spatharios and tourmarches; owner of a seal dateable perhaps to the eighth or ninth century: Ebersolt, "Sceaux byzantins", p. 407, no. 556. Obv.: cruciform monogram in the name of the Virgin. Rev.: Νικήτας βασιλικὸς σπαθάριος and τουρμάρχης. According to Zacos and Veglery, this seal resembles that owned by Niketas 140.
