Niketas 34 was patrikios and strategos of Sicilia; owner of seals dateable to the eighth or ninth century: DOSeals I 5.20a (= Zacos and Veglery 2256) and 5.20b. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Νικητα - πατρηκ' - κ' στρ' τ - Σικ. The name and titles read: Νικήτᾳ πατρηκίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ τῆς Σικελίας. Possibly identical with Niketas patrikios and strategos of Sicilia, who owned another seal dateable to the same period: Borsari, no. 6. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Νικητα - πατρικ' - και στρατ' - Σικελ'. This seal is in the Museo Archeologico di Siracusa. Possibly identical with Niketas 160.
