Nikephoros 51 was patrikios and strategos of the Armeniakoi; owner of a seal dateable to the second half of the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2225. The name and titles read: ..φόρῳ πατρικίῳ καὶ στρατηγῷ τῶν Ἀρμενιακῶν. The owner's name is uncertain and Christophoros is equally possible. If Nikephoros is correct, this man may have been identical with Nikephoros 7.
