Nikephoros 50 was bishop of Trapezous (Trebizond); owner of a seal dateable to the late eighth and early ninth centuries (probably between 787 and 815, since the seal is iconic): Zacos and Veglery 1344 = Laurent, Corpus V 2, no. 1612. The name and title read: Νικεφόρῳ ἐπισκόπῳ Τραπεζοῦντος.
