Michael 138 was basilikos spatharios and dioiketes of Stratonikeia; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century: DOSeals III 108.1. Obv.: patriarchal cross on four steps, with Ισ' - χσ' - νη - κα in the corners (i.e. Ἰησοῦς Χριστὸς νηκᾷ) and a circular inscription, reading: +Κε βοηθει τω σω δουλω. Rev.: +Μιχα - ηλ β' σπαθ' - κε δηοικη - τη στρατο - νικη... The name and titles read: Μιχαὴλ βασιλικῷ σπαθαρίῳ κὲ δηοικητῇ Στρατονικήας.
