Michael 117 was dioiketes of Lydia; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 24.2 = Zacos and Veglery 2183. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - .ω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: .ιχα - .....ικι' - Λυδιας. The name and title can be read: Μιχαὴλ διοικιτῇ Λυδίας. The reading of the title as διοικητής is not certain.
