Michael 36 was a deacon (diakonos), kouboukleisios and skeuophylax; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Laurent, Corpus V 1, 78 = Schlumberger, Sig., p. 411, no. 2 (facsimile) = Konstantopoulos, JIAN 6, 268. Obv.: invocative monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with the legend τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. Rev.: [+Μι]χαηλ - διακ(όνῳ), κουβ(ουκλεισίῳ) (καὶ) - σκευοφ(ύλακι).
