Michael 34 was koubikoularios; owner of a seal dateable to the first quarter of the eighth century: Seibt, Bleisiegel I, no. 56. For the date, see Seibt, Bleisiegel, p. 167. Possibly owner also of a second seal, dateable to the same period, perhaps slightly earlier (so Seibt, Bleisiegel, p. 167): Zacos and Veglery 942 (cited in Seibt, Bleisiegel, p. 167, in the commentary). Obv. For a similar seal, see Laurent, "Bulletin" I, p. 586, n. 4, with the same text; this was first published in Notre Dame, 1925, p. 502, perhaps by Delattre, and perhaps originated from Carthage, which implies a date not later than the seventh century.
