Methodios 7 was bishop of Pergamon; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 28. 1 = Laurent, Corpus V 3, no. 1696. Obv.: bust of the Virgin holding a medallion of Christ, and a circular inscription, reading: Θεοτοκε βοηθ τω σω δ.. Rev.: +Μεθο - διω επισκ - οπω πολεο - ς Περγαμ - ου αμην. Possibly identical with Methodios (PBE II) bishop of Pergamon who took part in the council of 879/880.
