Possessed by demons, Menas 3 was miraculously cured by St Peter of Atroa (Petros 34); he was a postulant: Vita Petr. Atr. 79, Vita Petr. Atr. Retractata, p. 127-8. His name is given only in the Vita Retractata. The date was shortly before the death of Petros 34 (in 837).
