Mauros 4 was bishop of Polimartium; present at the Council of Rome in 769: Lib. Pont. 96. 17 ("Maurus, episcopus civitate Polimartio"). Another manuscript spells his name "Maurinus"; see Duchesne, Lib. Pont., p. 483, n. 38. He is named tenth in the list of bishops from Italy.
