Maurikios 3 was bishop of Anagnia (in Latium); he was one of the hundred and twenty-five Western bishops who attended the Council of Rome at Easter 680, and who subscribed the decree condemning monotheletism: Riedinger II 2. 152, lines 32-34 (= Mansi XI 309- 310) (Μαυρίκιος ἐλάχιστος ἐπίσκοπος τῆς ἁγίας ἐκκλησίας Ἀναγνίνης; the old Latin version printed in Riedinger II 2. 153, line 23, calls him "Mauritius episcopus sanctae ecclesiae Anagninae").
