Maurianos 12 was an apo eparchon; owner of a seal dateable to the late seventh or early eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 1549. The name and title read: Μαυριανῷ ἀπὸ ἐπάρχων. A similar seal which is published by Konstantopoulos, JIAN 9, 355a (not dated by the editor), possibly belonged to the same man, according to Zacos and Veglery. The name and title read similarly: Μαυριανῷ ἀπὸ ἐπάρχων.
