Matrona 1 was the daughter of Theodenanda 00 and widow of Sergius 000; she lived in Rome but owned property in Naples (a house, domus, and garden, hortus, in the square "que ad Monita dicitur"), which after her death came into the possession of the monastery of SS. Marcellinus and Petrus: Capasso, Monumenta, Vol. I (1881), pp. 262-263. See also Euphrosyne 5.
