Martinos 1 was a basilikos spatharokandidatos and logothetes of the oxys dromos; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 529, no. 3 (facsimile). Obv.: invocative monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with the name Μαρτίνῳ in the corners. Rev.: [βασι] - λικ(ῷ) σπ[α] - θαροκανδ[ι] - δατω (καὶ) λογ[ο] - θετη του ο - [ξ]εως δρο - μου.
