Manuel 8 was the owner of a seal dateable to the seventh or eighth century; the name (?on the obverse) is in the form of a monogram, to be interpreted probably as Μανουήλ; a second monogram (?on the reverse), not available, presumably recorded his titles: Konstantopoulos, JIAN 8, 783.
