Magnos 2 was bishop of Forum Popilii (in Flaminia, N. Italy); he was one of the hundred and twenty-five Western bishops who attended the Council of Rome at Easter 680, and who subscribed the decree condemning monotheletism: Riedinger II 2. 158, lines 32-33 (= Mansi XI 315-316) (Μάγνος ἐπίσκοπος τῆς ἁγίας ἐκκλησίας Πωπιλίας; the old Latin version printed in Riedinger II 2. 159, line 30 calls him "Magnus episcopus sanctae ecclesiae Popiliensis").
