Lykastos 13 was a hypatos, basilikos spatharios and strategos of Kephallenia; owner of several seals dateable to the eighth century: DOSeals II 1.15a (= Zacos and Veglery 919a), b, c (= Zacos and Veglery 919b), d (all from the same boulloterion). He also owned another seal, DOSeals II 1.15e, on which the remains of the text resemble the above. The same person probably owned two other seals, both from the same boulloterion: DOSeals II 1.15f (= Zacos and Veglery 919c), g. On the eighth century date, see Nesbitt and Oikonomides, DOSeals II, p. 7, note. The editors of DOSeals identify with this person the owner of Panchenko, Katalog 408 (with Laurent, Vat. 96) (the restored text reads: [Λ]υκάστ[] ὑπάτῳ, [βασιλικῷ σπ]αθαρίῳ καὶ στρ[ατ]ηγῷ Κε[φα]λ[ηνίας ]). The same person probably owned also another seal, published by Konstantopoulos, JIAN 5, 111, cf. W. Seibt, "G. Zacos-A. Veglery, Byzantine Lead Seals" (compte-rendu), ByzSlav 36 (1975), p. 211, which resembles f and g above, and see Stephanos 124.
