Lykastos 6 was a kommerkiarios of Corinth of Hellas (sic); owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 182, no. 1 (with facsimile) = Bon, Le Péloponnèse byzantin, p. 205, no. 70. Obv.: invocative monogram of Κύριε βοήθει with the legend τῷ σῷ δούλῳ. Rev.: +Λυ - καστου - κομερκη - αρηο(υ) Κορ - ηνθ(ου) Ἑλ(λαδος). Cf. Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, p. 124. Schlumberger proposed to identify this man with Lykastos 5 (a proposal misunderstood by Bon, loc. cit.).
