Lykastos 4 was a basilikos protospatharios and strategos of Macedonia; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 111, no. 2 (published by Mordtmann, "Byz. Molybdoboullon" III, pp. 84ff.). The text as given by Schlumberger reads: [Θεοτόκε] or [Κύριε βοήθει] τῷ σῷ δούλῳ Λυκάστ(ῳ) β(ασιλικῷ) (πρωτο)σπαθ(αρίῳ) (καὶ) στρατηγ(ῷ) Μακεδον(ίας).
