Louminosos 4 was bishop of Bononia (in Aemilia); he attended all five sessions of the Lateran Council, from 5 October to 31 October 649, and in the list of bishops present is named in ninety-fifth place: Conc. Lat., p. 6, line 24 (Λουμινώσου ἐπισκόπου Βωνωνίας), p. 7, line 24 ("Luminoso Bonense episcopo") (the first session), cf. pp. 35, 115, 181 and 251 (the Latin version only is repeated for the other sessions). He subscribed the definition of the faith agreed by the Council at its fifth session: Conc. Lat., p. 400, line 13 (Λουμίνωσος ἐπίσκοπος Βωνωνίας), p. 401, line 13 ("Luminosus episcopus sanctae Bonensis ecclesiae").
