Loukianos 2 was bishop of Leontine (in Sicily); he attended all five sessions of the Lateran Council, from 5 October to 31 October 649, and in the list of bishops present is named in twelfth place: Conc. Lat., p. 2, line 20 (Λουκιανοῦ ἐπισκόπου Λεοντίνης), p. 3, line 20 ("Luciano Leontinense episcopo") (the first session), cf. pp. 31, 111, 177 and 247 (the Latin version only is repeated for the other sessions). He subscribed the definition of the faith agreed by the Council at its fifth session: Conc. Lat., p. 392, line 11 (Λουκιανὸς ἐπίσκοπος Λεοντίνης), p. 393, line 11 ("Lucianus episcopus sanctae Leontinensis ecclesiae").
