Nicknamed Balelades, Leo 268 was the bishop of an unnamed see who was exiled to Cherson together with Antonios 38 and two others (Anonymi 26) for condemning the Moechian synod of 809 (ἐν Χερσῶνι δεδιωγμένος Λέων ὁ θεοσεβέστατος ἐπίσκοπος τὸ ἐπίκλην Βαλελάδης): Theod. Stud., Ep. 48 (c. 810/811).
