Leo 235 was hypatos and paraphylax of Abydos; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals III 40.25 = Zacos and Veglery 2117. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Κύριε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: .εον - τι υπατω - . παραφυ' - Αβυδ'. The name and title read: Λέοντι ὑπάτῳ καὶ παραφύλακι Ἀβύδου.
