Leo 171 was the owner of a badly preserved seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Speck, Bleisiegel 118. Obv.: bust of an unidentified saint. Rev.: [+]Λεον - ...β' α'... - ...ιτ... - ...ω.... His title contained the words βασιλικος πρωτο... and an office containing the letters ιτ (possibilities are praipositos, balnitor, vestitor).
