Leo 168 was basilikos spatharokandidatos and tourmarches of Dyrrachion; owner of a seal dateable between the mid ninth century and the early tenth: Zacos II 222. Obv.: cross on base and steps; circular inscription of Κ(ύρι)ε βοήθη .. σῷ δούλῳ. Rev.: Λεον - τως β' σπ - αθ' κανδι - δ' (καὶ) τρουμα - ρχ' του Δυ - ραχιου. The name and titles read: Λέοντος βασιλικοῦ σπαθαροκανδιδάτου καὶ τρουμάρχου (sic) τοῦ Δυρραχίου. On the theme of Dyrrachion, see Oikonomides, Listes, p. 352 with n. 366.
