In 759 Leo 6 was logothetes of the dromos (καὶ Λέοντα ἕτερον, λογοθέτην τοῦ δρόμου: Theoph. AM 6251); he was one of those who were killed when the Bulgars defeated the army of Constantine V (Konstantinos 7) in battle at the kleisoura at Beregaba: Theoph. AM 6251.
