Kyros 2 was bishop of Alexandria from 631 to 642, when he died; see PLRE III, pp. 377-378.

Kyros 2, the patriarch of Alexandria, was one of those condemned as heretics at the Lateran Council of 649 under pope Martin I (Martinos 6) (the others were Sergios (patriarch of Constantinople from 610 to 638), Pyrrhos 1 and Paulos 2): Lib. Pont. 76. 3, and see Conc. Lat., passim (for references, see Paulos 2).

Patriarch of Alexandria; Kyros 2 was a monothelete and was condemned by the Council of Constantinople in 681: Council of Constantinople, passim, Photius, Ep. 1, line 331 (I 12 Laourdas-Westerink).
