Textual SourcesLateran Council = Concilium Lateranense anno 649 celebratum, ed. R. Riedinger, ACO II 1 (Berlin, 1984) (conciliar)

Kriskes 1 was bishop of Locri; he attended all five sessions of the Lateran Council, from 5 October to 31 October 649, and in the list of bishops present is named in twenty-fourth place: Conc. Lat., p. 2, line 32 (Κρισκίου ἐπισκόπου Λούκρης), p. 3, line 32 (Crescete Lucrense episcopo) (the first session), cf. pp. 31, 111, 177 and 247 (the Latin version only is repeated for the other sessions). He subscribed the definition of the faith agreed by the Council at its fifth session: Conc. Lat., p. 392, line 35 (Κρίσκης ἐπίσκοπος Λοκρίδος), p. 393, line 35 ("Crescentius episcopus sanctae Lucrensis ecclesiae"). His name was perhaps Crescens or Crescetis.
