Krateros 3 was basilikos protospatharios and strategos of the Thrakesioi; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Regling, Bleisiegel I, p. 43, no. 2, cf. Maas, in BZ 20 (1911), p. 613. The name and title read: Κρα(τέρῳ) β(ασιλικῷ) πρωτοσπαθαρ(ίῳ) κ(αὶ) στρατηγῷ τῶν Θρακισίνων.
