Kosmas 39 was a hypatos; son of Theophilos 29; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 3131. The names and title read: Κοσμᾷ ὑπάτῳ, υἱῷ Θεοφ.... The last part of the name of the father is not legible; it could equally well have been Theophanes or Theophylaktos.
