Konstantinos 279 was a basilikos spatharios and droungarios of Aigaion Pelagos; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals II 40.6. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with .. - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Κων - τα.. β' ς - πα.. και δ - ρον. του Ε - γ' Πελ'. The name and titles read: Κων[σ]τα[ντίνῳ] β[ασιλικῷ] σπα[θαρίῳ] καὶ δρονγ[γαρίῳ] τοῦ Ἐγ[αίου] Πελ[άγουσ].
