Konstantinos 260 was the father of Nikephoros 65; he was a hypatikos and a pious man who paid frequent visits to St Ioannikios (Ioannikios 2); on one occasion he arrived having thrashed one of his attendant's whose packhorse had fallen into a stream and soaked his possessions; Ioannikios 2 advised him not to treat his attendants in that way, and then proceeded to cure Konstantinos 260's son (Nikephoros 65) of a speech defect: Sabas, Vita Ioannicii 37 (ἀνὴρ δέ τις εὐσεβὴς, τῇ ἀξίᾳ ὑπατικός, Κωνσταντῖνος τῇ κλήσει, πιστῶς καὶ συχνῶς ἀνήρχετο πρὸς τὸν ὅσιον). Ioannikios 2 was apparently living near to the monastery of Antidios at the time; see Ioannikios 2.
