Konstantinos 255 was basilikos spatharokandidatos and epi ton deeseon; owner of a seal dateable to the first half of the ninth century (so Laurent) or to the second half (so Zacos and Veglery): Zacos and Veglery 1835 (M/L IX) = Laurent, Corpus II, no. 234 (E/M IX). The name and titles read: Κωνσταντίνῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαροκανδιδάτῳ καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν δεήσεων. Laurent did not read the word βασιλικῷ, and recorded the surviving letters as: .. σταν .... σπαθα ..δ' (και) επι ..ησε..
