Konstantinos 244 was basilikos spatharokandidatos; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: Zacos and Veglery 1834. The name and title read: A similar seal, perhaps owned by the same person, is Laurent, Orghidan 151. Obv.: traces of a cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with [τ]ω - σ[ω] - δου - λω in the corners. The beta is in the form of a Latin capital R, indicating a date not before the early to mid ninth century.
