Konstantinos 177 was a basilikos spatharokandidatos; owner of a seal dateable to the middle of the ninth century: Zacos II 1068. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Κωνς - ταντινω - β' σπαθαρ' - κανδιδ'. The name and title read: Κωνσταντίνῳ βασιλικῷ σπαθαροκανδιδάτῳ.
