Konstantinos 117 was koubikoularios, megas kommerkiarios of Peloponnesos; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century: Schlumberger, Sig., p. 180, n. 5, no. 8 = p. 473, no. 20 = Mordtmann, "Plombs" I, p. 296, no. 14. The legend as recorded by Mordtmann and Schlumberger reads: Κων(σταντῖνος) - κου(βικουλάριος), μεγ(α) - ς κομμερκ - ιάρης Πε - λοποννήσου. According to Bon, Péloponnèse, p. 189, no. 15, Laurent read the seal differently: Ιω[σ] - ηφ μεγα - ς κουμερ(κ) - ιάρης Πε - (λο)πων(νήσου). See Winkelmann, Rangstruktur, p. 125.
