Konstantinos 109 was metropolitan bishop of Pontos (i.e. of Neokaisareia, the metropolis of Pontus Polemoniacus); owner of a seal dateable to the ninth or tenth century: Laurent, Corpus V 1, no. 489. Obv.: Virgin holding medallion of Child with the legend Μ(ήτηρ) Θ(εοῦ) and the invocative formula Θ(εοτό)κε β(οή)θ(ει) [τῷ σῷ δούλῳ]. Rev.: +Κων[σ] - ταντίν(ῳ) ἐ - λέῳ Θ(εο)ῦ μη - τροπολ(ίτῃ) - Πόντου.
