Konstantinos 5 was basilikos kommerkiarios of Thrace and Macedonia; owner of a seal (dated to 831/832, see below): DOSeals I 43.18 = Oikonomides, Dated Seals, p. 55, no. 46. On the obverse is a bust of the emperor Theophilos 5, the emperor's name (poorly preserved) and the tenth indiction; on the reverse is the inscription: +Κω[ν]σταντ(ῖνος) β(ασιλικὸς) κομερ(κιάριος) Θρᾴκ(ης) (καὶ) Μακεδ(ονίας).
