Isaakios 12 was the husband of Theodote 5 and father of Theophanes the Confessor (Theophanes 18); he held office as archon of the Aigaion Pelagos, but died when his son was only three years old: Vita Theoph. Conf. (BHG 1787z) 10, Vita Theoph. Conf. (BHG 1791) 390.
