Ioulianos 10 was the owner of a seal dateable to the seventh or eighth century; the text is apparently in Greek but in Latin characters: Konstantopoulos, JIAN 8, 1057. The obverse reads: "Iulianu"; the reverse: "SEVTIU". Both words are clearly Greek genitives but written in Latin characters; the meaning of the reverse is not obvious, but it could be the genitive of the name Sergios, and would therefore probably represent the name of the father of Ioulianos 10; for similar letter forms interpreted in this way, see Zacos and Veglery 991 (cited and illustrated in PLRE III, p. 1131, s.n. Sergius 20).
