Ioannes 535 was apo hypaton and genikos kommerkiarios of the apotheke of Isauria; owner of a seal dated to the sixth indiction in the reign of the emperor Justinian II (i.e. 692/693): SBS 3, p. 181, no. 2053 (Albrecht Münz, Sale 73, April 1992). Obv.: image of Justinian II and a circular inscription, reading: Ἰωάννου ἀπὸ ὑπάτων, with the sixth indiction. Rev.: καὶ γενικοῦ κομμερκιαρίου τῆς ἀποθήκης Ἰσαυρίας.
