Ioannes 518, also known as Iohannes Particiacus (Giovanni Partecipazio), was the son of Angelus Particiacus (Angelos 1) and the brother of Iustinianus Particiacus (Ioustinianos 4); he was dux of Venetia in succession to his father and his brother for eight years; he was succeeded by Petrus Particiacus (Petros 142): Chron. Alt., p. 117.
