Ioannes 435 was droungarios; owner of a seal dateable to the eighth or ninth century: Borsari, no. 15. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει, with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: Ιωαν - νη δρου - γγαριω - αμην. The seal is in the Archaeological Museum of Syracuse, suggesting that Ioannes 435 held office in Sicily.
