Ioannes 429 was basilikos mandator and protonotarios of the Kibyrrhaiotai; owner of a seal dateable to the ninth century: DOSeals II 59.18 = Zacos and Veglery 2028. Obv.: cruciform monogram of Θεοτόκε βοήθει with τω - σω - δου - λω in the corners. Rev.: +Ιωαννι β' - μανδ' ρι και αν - οταριω τον - Κιβυριοτ. The name and titles read: +Ἰωάννῃ βασιλικῷ μανδάτορι καὶ πρωτονοταρίῳ τῶν Κιβυριότων.
