Ioannes 400 was the father of the spatharios Anonymus 451 (.α..οζανυ.ος); Ioannes 400 is named on the seal of his son, which is dateable to the eighth century: Zacos and Veglery 2641. The names and title appear to read: .α..ωζανυ.ῳ ὑιῳ Ἰωάννου σπαθαρίῳ.
